I’m Molly, a ceramic artist based in South East London with a background in painting and printmaking. My practice brings these disciplines together, treating clay as both functional form and a surface for mark-making.

Mark-making is central to my work. I use techniques such as wax resist to reveal and interrupt areas of glaze, allowing the warm clay body to emerge through darker surfaces. Each mark is direct, while negative space becomes an active part of the composition. Through layering, removal and firing, every piece develops its own character.
